Interfaith Programs

All religions teach one basic discipline: the removal from the mind of the blemish of egoism and the pursuit of fleeting joy. Every religion guides individuals to fill their being with the glory of the divine and to dispel the pettiness of conceit. It trains them in methods of detachment and discrimination so they may aim high and attain liberation. Believe that all hearts are motivated by the One and Only God; that all faiths honor the One and Only God; that all names in all languages and all forms people can conceive refer to the One and Only God; and that worship is best expressed through love. Foster an attitude of oneness among individuals of all beliefs, nations, and continents. This is the message of love I share. This is the message I hope you will embrace.

Embracing and exemplifying the unity of all faiths is a hallmark of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO). To this end, the SSSIO welcomes members, visitors and volunteers from all backgrounds and traditions into its activities. The SSSIO also promotes interfaith or multi-faith initiatives and events, with the goal of educating and enriching our communities, enhancing interfaith unity and collaboration, promoting inclusiveness, and engage participants in multi-faith panels, workshops, devotional sessions and service initiatives.
