US Missions

Love must be manifested as Seva (Service). Seva must take the form of food for the hungry, solace for the forlorn, consolation for the sick and the suffering.
- Sri Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 15, 1981-82, 25th December 1981

In addition to Disaster Relief, Sri Sathya Sai International Organization is engaged in other missions in the United States such as food drives, construction projects and pandemic relief.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba further says “You must feed the poor on all days. You must have the broad outlook.”  Narayana Seva or the service for the hungry is the best form of service. Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Organization engage in feeding the poor through cooking in soup kitchens, providing groceries, and distributing food packages.

Pure vision leads to pure thoughts. Pure thoughts result in pure actions. Purity in action is essential for human existence. Purity in thoughts and purity in speech must lead to purity in deeds. This is the triple purity hailed by the sages. When this purity is manifest, human life gets redeemed. The principle of “Help ever, hurt never” becomes the governing principle of daily life.
- Sri Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 31, 14th April 1998
